Ball High Attendance Policy

A child between the ages of 6 and 17, depending on when the child's birthday falls, is required to attend school each day during the instructional year unless otherwise exempted by law.  School employees are compelled by law to investigate and report any violations of the state compulsory attendance law.  These attendance requirements also apply to any District-required tutorial sessions.

Note: Perfect Attendance honors will be awarded only to students with no absences.  Please refer to the GISD Attendance Handbook for detailed regulations and procedures.
